About
- The Short of It -
Peer Support, San Diego is a collective of compassionate people working to provide much-needed and affordable emotional support to the San Diego community.
I started Peer Support in March of 2025 as a project to reach those who were either skeptical of traditional therapy or who found themselves between their ability to out-of-pocket and without access to medical insurance.
Peer Support began as an idea, inspired by both the colleagues and the clients I had met while I was completing San Diego State’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
Now, I see Peer Support as operating within a perfect niche to add a more personal option for support to fellow San Diegans.
“OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Peer Support is the answer to a system that has made meaningful support
both expensive and inaccessible.
While our work is incredibly therapeutic and helpful, Peer Support is not
therapy, and our approach to providing emotional support is anything but typical.
You can think of Peer Support as your resource hub and advocate, filling the gap of support with a companion heart-to-heart approach.
We are your neighbors, your brothers and sisters, here to help serve the community we love in the ways we know how.”
